"This is a cute little get away. The kitchen is not practical to cook in other than warming up leftovers but way better stocked than a hotel room. The bathroom is tiny but very modern with a steam shower. It was in the 80’s in the afternoons when we stayed and the a/c unit had a difficult time keeping the room cooled. I mentioned it to the staff when we checked out and they said they’d have their maintenance guy figure out what was going on. There is a natural spring very close and they provide a...
"We were visiting our daughter who was working at a camp down the road, and landed at the Dao House. We stayed in the lodge, which was beautiful. Our room had a door to a shared balcony and hummingbirds were everywhere. We had 2 queen beds for my family, and the room arrangement worked really well for the four of us (2 teens).
Everything was very clean and the staff was beyond helpful. We went horseback riding at Elkhorn stables on the property, which made for a great afternoon. My hubby and...
"The staff was very friendly & helpful! Nice rooms and pool with towels available. Also a smaller hot tub that was older above ground. Parking is $10 a day & great location too downtown. Definitely recommend!"
"This is a nice Holiday Inn....until you want to sit in the lobby and have a cup of coffee or a cold beer. For the life of me I dont understand what a pin ball machine is doing in the lobby....it is so loud and annoying. Most of the children playing on said machine didn't pay to play. They just beat on the machine for fun. Honestly this annoyance will keep me from staying there ever again."
