"The room was not clean to satisfaction, The bathroom floor was really nasty, no phone in the room to contact front desk, no hot water in sink, and the shower was not working properly. When you got up off the bed it made a strange noise,
This is a terrible place to stay i would not recommend it to anyone!"

"Okay, it's nice enough for hiking and it's clean with a good view. Unfortunately, there is no blow dryer and the communication with the staff is hit or miss. I asked for a 3rd for room with my reservation, but the hotel owners said second floor would be better. Well, you can hear everything from the people above (stomping around and yelling). The area was hit hard from Helene...a lot lf trails still closed and not much for restaurant options in downtown Spruce Pine as they're still recovering."

"The picture on Expedia is not what all the rooms look like (updated & fresh)! There are a few rooms with the hillside view that are very much lacking for the price. The walls are Seafoam green, plain bedding, outdoor table & chair (both rocked - not level), no door on the closet, a toilet that didn’t work properly (had to hold handle down for a long time for it to flush & sometimes have to flush 2 or 3 times to
get a proper flush). The porcelain in the toilet bowl was broken from being snaked...
