"Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking. "

"Placid Village was a very positive surprise for us. Too bad we stayed only for one night. It was very quiet and the surroundings had a southern flair. The entire facility is very valuable and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately we only had a stopover here and didn't have time to enjoy the amenities."

"We stayed for over a month, and we doubt with a gentleman by the name of Rui, at the front desk. He was so incredibly helpful, friendly, insightful, and gave us some phenomenal suggestions. No request was too small or too big. His Customer service really made our trip memorable. He gave us ideas for places to go, restaurants, bakeries, local things to do, and if we had any issues at all, they were dealt with, in an expedient fashion! Fabulous room, we upgraded to a two bedroom suite overlooking...

"Our stay was fine. The room's are quite spacious but a bit dated. Services were quite good, too bad the pool was not heated and definitely too cold to swim comfortably. The hotel especially suitable for families with children. Breakfast was okay with enough options."

"Hotel staff very professional and view is excellent, but the AC in our room refused to work and it stubbornly remained at 24 degree Celsius (75F. ) at night and we couldn't sleep well because the room was too hot. We had to call the hotel twice and waited for about an hour to get an engineer but he couldn't fix it. "

"Some staff were excellent,( bravo to the breakfast staff, especially Ana and Jose) some staff were not up to par for a 5 Star resort( ex: front desk) -issues to obtain Ice, this should be available on every level and at no charge thru room service. - pool deck umbrellas were subpar and needed maintenance so that they do not fly away during wind gusts"
