"I want to start by saying the staff at this hotel were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. The property is currently undergoing renovations, which I tried to keep in mind, and because of how kind the team was, I truly did not want to leave a negative review. However, due to how sick I became during my stay, I feel it’s important to share my experience.
I prepaid for a two-week stay. My first room had a strong cigarette smoke smell, and the front desk quickly moved me without issue. In the second room, I noticed visible mold on the curtains and a strong moldy smell coming from the AC unit. I had to turn the AC off and open the window just to make the room tolerable. Again, staff were kind and moved me despite the hotel being fully booked.
Unfortunately, my health continued to decline. I lost my voice, had watery eyes, congestion, an asthma flare-up, extreme fatigue, and even developed a rash. After checking into another hotel nearby, I felt completely better within two days.
The staff did everything they could, and I appreciate their efforts. However, the room conditions, especially the mold and poor air quality, had a serious impact on my health. I hope management addresses these issues, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend staying here."
