"The lobby of the hotel is very nice with a decent restaurant and bar. The location is excellent as it's right in the heart of downtown Monterey and a short walk to Cannery Row. My biggest complaint is that the beds and the pillows are not very good."

"For the price we paid it was a good stay. Breakfast was decent and easy access. The exterior was clean, spa needs a bit of attention lots of debris inside water. The rooms were a bit dirty, brought my own Clorox wipes to wipe down desk areas. Fridge had dead baby roach inside and bathroom needs to be cleaned better."
