The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. "

"From the start walking into reception staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure both myself and wife had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was immaculate, tea & coffee on tap, bottled water, fresh milk in the mini fridge. Breakfast was covered from full English, continental, fruit & yogurt, toast to mention just a few items on offer to cater for all, Big shout out to Mike who was always at hand to apiece any of requests. Overall, can’t wait to return, with my wife already looking at dates for September "

"I have not stayed here for years and was surprised to see that its still a Brend Hotel ( family hotel). I went for breakfast and it was a traditional waiter service breakfast eg you are shown to a table, another waiter takes your order, you choose the items you want and its freshly cooked ( no food sitting under a heated light)"
