Great place to stay. Central to so much. Be aware these apartments are run by a hotel and the hotel staff is not amazing. You can barely get in touch with anyone prior to you arrival.

This spacious apartment was in a perfect location for us -- within a 20-minute walk (or a 5-10-minute tram ride) to the museums, canal tour, and other sights at the top of our list, and quiet at night, away from the ruckus closer to Centraal Station. There is a terrific food hall on the same block, as well as access on the same block in the other direction. The check-in at the Hotel de Hallen (one block away) was effortless, and we were greeted by friendly and gracious folks behind the desk. Though we didn't take advantage of the hotel's restaurant and bar, it was a persistent comfort to know that these amenities and the helpful hotel team were available a block away. Slight (half-day) delay in responding to questions posted via Expedia to the host. I would recommend calling the Hotel de Hallen's front desk if you have any time-sensitive questions.

The space was as advertised. Great location! Close to trams. The living room furnishings were quite stained and dirty. The King sized bed was extremely comfortable. The all-in-one washer/dryer did not work well but used the drying rack.

Apartment was ok. For what we paid, I was expecting a lot more. There was nothing about no elevators. Location was great. Photos of the apartment are deceiving. I could of had two hotel rooms for the same price.

The apartment had lots of space for our family of four to spread out and relax after a day of touring Amsterdam. Very clean and tons of restaurant and grocery options nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Great experience in Amsterdam

It was a great stay, excellent location and space. The only recommendation is to specify that check-in needs to be done at the front desk of the Hotel Hallen that is located one block away from the APARTMENTS

I personally liked it because my aunt lives nearby. The shopping, access to tram and city centre make this a great place to stay, A market practicallly out the door and tram down the street have easy transportation. Since it is not city centre it is in a quiet area and good service at the hotel desk.

Everything is wonderful. Apartment is really clean and new. Fully equipped, towels, shampoos, coffees etc. place has also food area with different tastes all around world. Close to public transport and comfy place. Very happy with my stay 8 nights.

This apartment was perfect for our family of four spending a week in Amsterdam. It was so great to have the extra space that came with large bedrooms plus kitchen/dining/living area. The location is very walkable to much of the city, and multiple tram lines are just a block or two away from getting you everywhere else. It is only a few minutes to tons of restaurants, and there is a grocery store across the street. Plus there is a street market a block away with other great food options. And don’t we visited Foodhallen three times! An added unexpected bonus is that we left AMS on King’s Day, and this neighborhood is far enough away from the city center that it wasn’t too crowded and the streets were all open. The only downside was a stale smoke smell that lingered in the living room. I’m not sure if it was from previous guests or other units or just people outside. But it wasn’t a big enough problem to affect us.

This was close to tram stop. Lots of restaurants nearby. We ate at a really good Indonesian restaurant. Close to beautiful park. Have to go to hotel de hallem to check in. Silverware drawer hidden under stove. Comfy bed! Great TV options.

I’ve stayed here many times in the past year or so. I’m mostly impressed by the management and staff. Always courteous and helpful—unlike other places I’ve stayed while in Amsterdam. Some of the apartments and amenities inside are more dated than others, but overall I continue to stay here because the apartments are a good value.

The property was good but use to have fans cooler options so the fan was helpful as well as the washer/dryer combination. Two levels for bedroom and the lower for kitchen/living area with stairs was unusual but fine. Recommend

Apartment was minimalist, but efficiently functional. Bedroom was just a loft above the living room, so there wasn't any isolation from any noise created in the living room, if that's an issue. It

Great apt and location. Close to tram line. Nice escape from the hevtic downtown area. Foodhallin next door is great for dinner. Several restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast at the DeHallen hotel. Watch weather forecast though. If temps are hot there is no air conditioning in apts. Poor air circulation. We had 2 very hot nights.You will be better off staying at the hotel which has ac.

Exceptional value, will be coming here again in future trips. Stunned by how much space we had! Great amenities, including everything needed for basic cooking, washing clothes. Convenient location. No noise problems. Tips: (1) loud pigeons on the roof nearby are scared off if you flip the window shades up & down a couple of times, and they don’t come back for quite a while. (2) Nice fans are provided for the really warm days and we found that propping the door open downstairs with the most powerful fan blowing air up & and doors to living areas propped open, during cooler part of the morning/evening, quickly circulated enough cool air to make it comfortable.

what a great apartment. Convienent to everything. We didn't have a car so can't comment on parking, but public transport is the way to go in Amsterdam. The apartment is well equipped with all that you will need to be comfortable. The kitchen has all the basic items to make a meal. (except for a toaster, which would have been useful). There is so much space, the living room & kitchen are downstairs, bathroom & bedroom upstairs. The drapes where heavy enough to keep out the light. Would definitely return.

The apartments are in a covered pedestrian shopping district, repurposed from a warehouse with very high ceilings. It is two levels with the bedroom loft over the downstairs. It is very roomy and surprisingly quiet. It is steps from public transport and the Food Hallen and the Ten Kate Street Market. It’s also 20-30 minutes walking distance to the museums and Vondelpark. The king bed was comfortable, and the bathroom upstairs is small but has a lovely shower. (The water can get scalding hot). There is a toilet downstairs, too. As Americans, we are still on the combo washer-dryer learning curve. This was our biggest challenge, and we left with wet laundry, delaying the start to our day as we found a laundromat to dry out clothes. Considerations: There are a lot of stairs, both getting up to the apartment as well as to the bedroom on the second floor, so keep in mind if you have small children or mobility issues. There is just one set of keys, and you have to lock yourself in to the apartment. The kitchen is a bit sparse, with a microwave but no conventional oven. The coffee maker and supplies provided amazingly good espresso, but there is no pantry, so we purchased all our own food supplies, including salt and pepper. There is a knife and a little parer, but not much else. But there is so much in the neighborhood to eat, this wasn’t much of an issue. All in all, this was a fantastic place to stay in Amsterdam. Highly recommended.

This is a tricky review- we had 2 rooms a larger room with kitchenette and a smaller room for our teenage girls. Our hosts were helpful, kind and met us upon check in. our room was comfortable and spacious and had beautiful stain glass original to the home. Unfortunately the neighborhood is literally under construction however not much work is being done so it’s quiet. It’s very close to the train station. If your room is at the back of the house you hear the trains very clearly. You’re sharing this home with others as each room is a suite in a larger home. It’s not the owners fault but their neighbors don’t keep their yards tidy so your view is the neighbor doing whatever. It looks like it was an amazing location before they started demolishing the area for the train station expansion. Short walk to train station. Incredible bakery a street over and a neighborhood market to get items to use in our kitchenette. A mixed bag - we did not know about the construction beforehand but overall great experience.

Låset till lägenheten fungerade inte, gick inte att låsa m nyckeln bara klicka igen. Vi påtalade detta, personal i informationsdisken var förvånade. Det gick inte att använda wi-fi vi påtalade även detta, personalen igen förvånade. En i personalen följde m till lgh och skulle hjälpa oss med detta. Hon berättade att det var inte nytt problem alls men att detta inte åtgärdats trots klagomål fr tidigare gäster. Vi frågade om det var säkert för oss att bo där och lämna våra saker, det intygades att det var säkert att ingen kunde komma in. Under vår vistelse skulle managern kontakta oss, det gjordes inte. Vi märkte att någon varit inne i lgh och tagit/stulit solglasögon och smycken, vi rapporterade detta till personalen, bad om hjälp vad vi skulle göra.Bad dem hjälpa till m polisanmälan om det behövdes. Managern skulle ringa oss. Ingen har ringt, inget återbetalat för boende trots trasigt lås/stöld och inget Wi-Fi. Vi var på jobbresa så behövde ha wi-fi . Dåligt att inte få hjälp att personalen, dåligt att inte få kontakt m ansvarig och väldigt dåligt att personalen ljög och låtsades att det vi påtalade var något nytt problem. Kändes väldigt otryggt och tråkigt att bli lurad
