What a delightful, gorgeous, spacious hotel. Each rooms were different and tastefully decorated. It was very clean and had everything we needed, in one of our rooms we even had a stove and oven. The staff were the most friendly and helpful professionals. Would love to stay here again.

Everything about the hotel stands out - tasteful decor, rich carpeting and furniture, a most cozy room and a great bar and breakfast dining area. Nice neighborhood too. The abundance of images of Greek gods, notably Apollo himself, throughout the hotel, makes for an inquisitive review of Greek mythology.

The staff was excellent. They were multi-lingual and assisted us with making restaurant reservations, calling taxis, and giving advice and directions to various attractions. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast room and bar were attractive and quiet. There is a courtyard patio as well. Oh, lots of hot water for showers. The location was good. The street is fairly quiet but close to a tram stop, excellent shops and restaurants. The stairs are steep but they have a lift which is useful when carrying luggage.

We loved our stay. The staff were very welcoming and our room comfortable, clean and easy walking distance to the museums and the Vondelpark. The hotel was affordable and very close to the trams and buses entering the old city. The international breakfast buffet was very good.
