We stayed in a twin room, the beds were comfy, room came with a safe and our room had a sliding door balcony which was nice. The hotel is in a really good spot right in the centre and you’re allowed to smoke in the garden which was great for us. All the staff were nice and the drinks at the bar were fairly reasonable. However in our room it was freezing and the radiator never came on but the reception staff gave us a heater. Also the room was quite outdated and dusty compared to how it was advertised. Also on our ceiling there was what looked to be a damp stain. We asked for a room refresh everyday using the sign however wasn't done until the 3rd day. The breakfast was fine but exactly the same every day. If you want to sleep on Saturday night I would definitely use ear plugs as we got woken a couple times.

I stayed at St Christopher’s and overall had a good experience in many ways. The location is fantastic — close to everything and super convenient for exploring the city. The staff were also exceptionally welcoming and kind, which made a big difference and gave the place a friendly atmosphere. The major downside, though, is the noise. The bass from the bars downstairs is very strong, and there were people yelling and even fighting outside until 2–3 am most nights. If you’re a heavy sleeper or planning to be out late yourself, this might not bother you, but if you need rest, it can be a serious issue. In short: great location, amazing staff, but be prepared for a loud night.

St Christopher's at the Winston is in a fantastic location, easily accessible from central station. Plenty of great bars and places to eat around the location. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Room was clean and staff were friendly.

Great staff at the hostel; everyone is very friendly and assists in guest requests. Definitely a hostel and not a hotel - a lot of students, transients, but we stayed in a private room with a private bathroom and it was as satisfactory as any other hotel. Would definitely recommend whether you stay as a guest with others or if you book a private room.

Great location and there’s a really big safe/lock box for each person under the bed - bring your own lock! Everything was super clean too. My only problem was how long the check in process took since there were only two people at the front desk and they worked very slowly

The hostel is located in the heart of Amsterdam. Its about a 1min walk from the red right district. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants close to the hostel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Its probably the best hostel in Amsterdam. I have stayed in plenty of different ones that dont match up to this one.

Prior to booking was reading a lot or feedback about outside noise. To be honest, it wasn't too bad, even when football games were on, the bar would calm down pretty fast.by 1-2am the lates. Location is supper convenient - located in red light distribution, just turn around the corner to get to main district activities. 7-10 min walk to Amsterdam central train station, download NS app on your phone so you can track train scheduling you're taking day trips from Amsterdam

Hotel is in the heart of amsterdam. Very clean. Staff are on hand 24/7 and really friendly. Rooms are exactly what you pay for. Beds are a little small for a man like me but i knew what id paid for as this is my 3rd stay here. Overall 9/10. Only gripe is they could do with a drinks vending machine for late at night. But thats me being lazy as there is a mini mart a 2 minute walk from the hotel or you can buy at the bar. Food and drinks very reasonably price. 10/10
