I sat down to contact Expedia, whose agent was courteous and immediately called the hotel to resolve the situation. "It was good, I would stay there again."

"The staff was great! The property was beautiful. The fine dining was good. But our room could have been better. The blinds were filthy, My bed had something in it that needed brushed off before I laid down. The bathroom had hair on the walls and the molding was brown from lack of cleaning. This is a beautiful historic hotel. And the staff we encountered were great. But the cleaning staff needs to get better."

"A good place to stay for the price"

Restaurant is walking distance and the food was very good. Overall nice weekend stay. Just hope that as time passes they keep it in the same...

"Located across the street from gas and food, my room was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Staff was very friendly and told me to call with any questions. For me the location is very convenient, halfway between FL and Nashville. I would return to the motel when in the area."

"Breakfast was awesome, room was clean, Sally was a great hostess. Pets were there during our stay, we'll behaved. Had a bonfire one evening, next day ,sat by the fish pond, watching them get fed. We had a fun time visiting nearby gardens and wineries."

"I couldn't stay it was so disgusting."
