The staff were very kind and tried to be helpful.The hotel is in need of significant repairs and updating. I was very disappointed with the quality of our room and the lack luster of the hotel itself. The elevators smelled horrible. The carpets need to be completely removed throughout the room and hotel. My first room was not clean and smelled like the elevators. The new room was cleaner, however, the door looked like it had been chewed up at the bottom and there was a scrape along the entire hotel wall by something with the door included. Made me feel a bit unsafe, especially traveling alone with my child. There was water damage all around the window, the curtains have NEVER been cleaned, the fridge was a college dormroom fridge that looked like it had been used as that. Some of the towels had stains on them.
Along with the issues at the hotel, I booked through a 3rd party and had quite a hassle with my checkout billing. I am still skeptical if I have been charged twice for the room and breakfast package. I purposely booked with a breakfast since it was needed for what we were staying for and then got charged again, along with additonal taxes. The breakfast was sufficient but not as nice as some of the competitors or other locations we have stayed.
The staff tried to help with all of it and were very pleasant but it did not leave a good impression on me for Hilton hotels, future stays and using a 3rd party to book. Definitely was NOT hassle free at this location.
