"I've stayed in many hotels around the world over the years, but this may be the best value hotel experience I've ever had.
My wife, my 6-year-old son, and I were on a road trip through Korea and booked this hotel in Yuseong, Daejeon, simply looking for a comfortable place to stay. What we found was far beyond our expectations.
We stayed in Room 202, an upgraded room that cost only about $10 more than the standard room. Even with the upgrade, the total was still under $100 per night. Honestly, I could hardly believe it.
The room felt like a private Japanese ryokan experience. We had two comfortable beds, a living area, a kitchenette, and a huge private soaking tub large enough for our family to enjoy together. The projector screen and soundbar allowed us to watch Netflix while relaxing in the bath. After a long day of driving, it was exactly what we needed.
The room also included thoughtful touches such as a traditional tea set, welcome cookies, plenty of towels, and eight complimentary bottles of water. Everything felt clean, generous, and carefully prepared.
I've stayed at similar hot spring hotels in Japan, and a comparable experience would easily cost several times more. At this price point, it felt almost too good to be true.
What stood out most wasn't just the room itself, but how relaxed and refreshed we felt afterward. It was one of those rare travel experiences that you remember long after the trip is over.
I will absolutely return on my next visit to Korea."
