"The restaurant that is highly lauded in some reviews did not exist. Once there, the owner’s son tells me that they close the restaurant during the slow season….which was NOT disclosed when I booked. It’s in a very secluded area but a drive to restaurants about 15 mins away. There’s a restaurant next door, but the opening time depends on their mood, one day was 10am and next day was 11am. They were both weekdays. They don’t clean the rooms so I had to walk to front desk for new towels and water....

From the advance transfer planning from Krabi airport to the marina, then across to the resort by boat, to settling into our beachfront villa, to every experience we enjoyed over the course of the week, the TreeHouse Villas team handled every part of our stay with 5-star service and care. Throughout our week, we often reflected on the calmness of each day and how a single day felt like it was slowing down time. Welcomed by the beautiful setting of the resort on Koh Yao Noi Island, you very easily settle into a tropical, peaceful part of the world and call it home for your stay. The guest villas are beyond belief in design, comfort, and experience. Everything you could need and more is carefully designed into them, with so many added comforts that they are too many to list. The management team and staff are truly the secret sauce that brings the whole luxury resort experience together. They represent the true spirit of the resort, and you can enjoy your stay knowing such a kind, caring, and accommodating team is there to make it everything you expect, and more. "Me and my friend had an incredible stay at Mhontong. We were welcomed in and felt like part of the family. The location is in a quiet rural fishing town, the locals are all very kind and gave us lots of smiles as we explored the area. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay there the best it could be. We were given lots of reccomendations of what to do in the area and had a private boat tour arranged, taking us to all the less touristy places ! We were accompanied by one of the hosts who helped translate with the boat driver and looked after us on the trip. The view from the property itself is beautiful and right in the national park. We cannot reccomend to stay here enough! Thank you so much for everything. Alisha ans Hope "
