"There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

"We enjoyed a wonderful short stay at Milton House. Communication by the owner Jo was excellent throughout - from the initial booking to departure. The location is wonderful - within a lovely small village with spectacular scenery, friendly people, and several choices of eateries The accommodation itself is maintained immaculately. The owners obviously takes a great deal of pride in their home, and in providing a wonderful experience to those why stay there. Standards of cleanliness...

"This pub/restaurant has it all, ambiance, great service varied menu and a great location. It was perfect way to celebrate my wife's birthday on our way home from a holiday in Scotland. Had a drink in the sheltered beer garden and a great meal in the restaurant. Breakfast, which is included is cooked fresh to order. Only minor issue being the bathroom which was small and could do with modernising. Otherwise 5 stras"

"We celebrated our Golden Wedding at the Coniston Hotel, along with 12 friends. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and the location was superb with views over the lake from all our rooms. All our friends thought the hotel was a perfect venue for our weekend celebration. The Winston' s Barn private dining room was fabulous. "
