Lahinch Coast Hotel & Suites

10/10 Excellent

"We greatly enjoyed our stay during spring break with our family of 5. We booked 2 adjoining rooms, including a suite, and had plenty of space. Room was a bit warm, but a call to front desk (to ensure I knew how to modify temp controls) and things were worked out and heat turned off in room. The restaurant food was great and staff were wonderful. Room was clean and son enjoyed the pool. My only less than perfect experience is the constant door noise heard well into the late evening. There are fire doors in the hallways, with one almost every 3 - 4 rooms. They stay closed 24-7 and make noise every time they close when anyone walks through. Even in our large suite with a separate closed door to our bedroom, I heard the door all evening and did not get much sleep. Would be nice to have some sort of cushioning on door jam to preclude hearing them close."

Connemara Coast Hotel

"We have stayed at hotel 3 times always found staff friendly and helpful The hotel rooms are clean and airy. Would recommend friends to stay it’s convenient and easy to travel to Galway city and other areas . I had the misfortune to leave my I pad in room when leaving and it was returned to me very quickly for which I’m most great full . Yes I would highly recommend staying there . N/Omck"

Doolin Inn

"This was a hidden gem. We weren't expecting such impressive accommodations. We were located in the building across the street from the main office. We had our own bedroom (with sitting area) and a shared internal space to use. Rooms were very clean, well appointed and staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was included and excellent."

The Waters Country House

"An amazing place. We had the Mountain Suite, which had a large four-poster kingsize bed plus two single beds for kids, which was decorated beautifully in an Irish medieval style, full of dark painted wood set off with pieces of art from places across the world. The location is super quiet, being a couple minutes from the nearest 'busy' road (busy is a relative term in North Clare!), but is only a short drive from some very nice places to eat and drink. The hosts - an Italian/Spanish couple who have been running this place for years now - are very personable, welcoming and engaging. Highly recommended if you want to stay in a place that makes it hard to get off your backside and actually go to the Cliffs of Moher!"

Cashel House Hotel

8/10 Good

"The gardens were incredible. Lots of paths . Very cozy place. Breakfasts were great! The room smelled damp and moldy. Rooms were large and nice except for smell. The bar was fun every night . Very cozy except for leather couches and chairs that you sank in (really sank in). We stayed 6 days with my family we had 4 rooms. The food was great! Except 90% fish dishes. We were not fish eaters. Last we stayed for the day but they do not serve lunch there."

Coastal View House

"The Coastal View House was perfect for our one night stay. The property and room was very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were also very comfortable. Slept great! The property was very quiet and peaceful being a short drive outside of the village of Doolin. We did consider walking into Doolin but it was going to be about a 30 minute walk & we we all hungry! It was a very short drive (<5 minutes) back into Doolin and we enjoyed a nice dinner. Hosts were very communicative and provided some great information about the area, check-in and check-out were also very straight foward. There was plenty of parking on-site. A great stay! Would stay here again."
