Loch Bun Abhainn Eadara. Looking north across the loch, the hills of North Harris form a distant backdrop. The name means "Loch at the bottom of the in-between river"!

Whaling station at Bunabhainneadar. The chimney and adjacent building are part of the abandoned whaling station at Bunabhainneadar. It was set up in 1904 and was used intermittently up to the 1950s. These are the only substantial remains of a whaling station in Scotland.

Outstanding Property and Location
Wonderful property and stay. Every facility and item you can think of provided for a hassle free self caring venue. The landscape and views are outstanding. Lovely place to bunker down in when the weathers blowing outside. Really enjoyed my stay.

Everything was perfect, view, everything in the cottage you could need, warm, clean and I loved the snug with all the reading material on offer on the bookcase. Lovely relaxing in the evening in the lounge with woodburner on, stone walls added to the character
