"Clean, tidy very lovely little house"

"Unfortunately I cannot post photos of the property but where to begin. When we arrived we were greeted with full bins and rubbish on the floor which we were told to pick up. The outside furniture is in a horrible state that I wouldn’t even let the kids sit on with the rust. The oven was in a disgusting state and the fridge door was broken. The state of the cottage was like nothing I’ve seen before. Which is very surprising considering that when you book this property you are then told that the...

"This beautiful cottage has very positive energy. It is located on a river, and was an actual mill. The host is very dedicated. He made us soda bread."

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"The location is good. Busy road during the day but quiet at night. The cottage has the charm of being old but it does require some attend to the deco, particularly in the bathroom and the kitchen. They could do with a refresh. Top bedrooms and the ones downstairs were in good order. "
