"We have chosen beachcomber 5 times in 18 months though this last stay was a little disappointing. We stayed in a beachfront room with broken air conditioning, the shampoo was not filled, the front desk staff were not welcoming as compared to the restaurant staff who were fabulous. "Breakfast was typical bargain hotel faire, tasteless. Did not use the pool.
The room was partially clean (the toilet and sink). The floor was so dirty that my feet were black after walking on it for five minutes! There was hair in the corners and I tracked it all over the place. The shower floor was dirty, if you can imagine! The shower also had black algae in the corners. I would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy.
