"My spouse and I chose the Baymont Inn and suites in Northwood,. Ohio mainly ,because of the reasonable price and that it included breakfast.
Upon arrival, we found our room to be clean and the staff helpful. The hotel was near a great selection of places to eat and convenient stores for everyday needs . The hotel was just what we needed for our couple of week's stay while waiting for our house to be finished . Despite the hotel being off of I-75, it was very quiet and peaceful.

"The front desk staff were in a terrible mood. When I checked in, the person was completely expressionless, and at check-out, the person had a really bad attitude. I asked about what it says on the key card holder regarding members being eligible for a short late check-out. They bluntly told me, with a sour face, 'not on weekends.'

"The first room we had had bed bugs and once we were moved to another room the sheets had makeup and blood stains... very disappointed. And then to make it better our tire got a screw in their parking lot from the renovations happening. Tire accidents can happen but surely didnt feel worth the stay. We ended up booking elsewhere for the remainder of the stay."

"The property is very conveniently located, close to the Interstate, and with lots of options to eat nearby. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they have a nice lobby with complimentary tea and coffee service, where you can hang out in the evening. This is where they also serve a good breakfast.
Even though the beds and pillows are comfortable, the rooms are very basic and the floors are carpeted, never ideal for hygiene. Worst of all is the bathroom: it is very basic and has a barn...

"All staff were very helpful- particularly when I left an item in my room.. they found it and sent me an online process to have the item returned
I gave only a four stars as someone — not sure who- overrided my handicapped room reservation— we were given a room that was for hearing impaired, which does not work when you have a broken ankle.
But the other staff really made up for it by their help and we generally really like staying at Home2"
