"The primary downside of this space is that there is no air conditioning. So if you happen to catch a heatwave during your stay, it will be hard to sleep. Otherwise it was like an upscale dorm or youth hostel. Not many bells and whistles, but clean, quite and a staff that was very helpful. It is about a 10 min walk to metro and so keep this in mind if you have difficulties walking. Oh, and a gym exists but it's poorly maintained."

"Good location to Arc De Triomphe and Avenue Des Champs-Élysées. A very nice seating, lounge area with free coffee and tea for guests was wonderful. 24/7 front concierge/reception was very helpful to ask questions. They booked our taxi to airport on day of departure. The room was clean, with mini fridge, and all amenities (except iron). TV works and air conditioning was so appreciated during the heat wave. We had free breakfast each morning- which allows a quick coffee, some small pastries and cheeses. This hotel met all our expectations as per booking. We stayed at 4 separate hotels(all booked through Expedia) during our trip to France. This is the only one that met all expectations- and receiving the 5 stars."

"We spent 8 days in Paris and stayed at the Novotel Hotel which was under construction and had I known that I wouldn’t book there for sure . The hotel appeared older and the carpets in our room was well worn and appeared it needed a good cleaning or replacement. Poor water pressure in the shower and air conditioning unit poorly maintained and was not cooling the room properly. The outside weather was in the 34 c range every day of our last 4 days. The morning breakfast served was the most chaotic experience I ever had . The coffee machine not maintained consistently running out of coffee or getting jammed or no water. The staff was poorly trained to handle a large crowd."

"The hotel was lovely and very clean throughout our stay. The family room was a great size for two adults and two teenagers, with plenty of space for us all to be comfortable. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful whenever we needed assistance. The breakfast was superb with an excellent variety of choices each morning. The location was also fantastic — the metro station was only a five-minute walk away and just five stops from the Eiffel Tower, making it perfect for exploring Paris. I really wish I could give our stay five stars, however unfortunately the hotel’s air conditioning struggled to cope with the high temperatures during our visit. We were told it would come on between 11pm and midnight, but sadly it never worked in our room at all. The hotel did provide us with a fan and kindly waived our parking charges as compensation, which we appreciated. However, with temperatures reaching 34°C during the day and still around 25°C at midnight, it made sleeping comfortably very difficult."
