We stayed at Hotel Meade twice previously, about 20 years ago, and the hotel is not as nice as I recall. Rooms could use updates and the outdoor patio area should be better maintained. "I booked through Expedia, which I will never do again. Although they gave me almost a full refund… The American Inn in Marshfield, Wisconsin was not a pleasant site… The foyer was filthy. The blinds throughout the hotel were torn ripped crooked… And the workers were smoking outside right by the entrance."

"Not that it was a bad issue but the pool was being remodeled and was closed. So my wife decided to use the jet tub in the king suite. The jets did not work and black flaky stuff came out of the tubes. Overall it was a great stay and the staff was great. I cannot remember her name, but she was the hostess/waitress in the restaurant for breakfast and she was great! Very kind and helpful! Appreciated that very much."
