"Staying at L’AND was one of the highlights of our Portugal vacation. The property is absolutely stunning, relaxing and luxurious. We stayed in one of the Lake View suites and it was extremely spacious and clean. There was a customized bottle of wine and two straw hats placed in our room before arriving which I thought was very thoughtful and sweet. I loved the window above the bed that we could see the stars from and how every room had a private fire pit that could be lit by a staff member on demand. My only complaint was that there was a foul odor coming from the bathtub in our bathroom. We mentioned it twice to two different staff members but no one addressed our concerns. The pool was serene and the perfect temperature. We also enjoyed a couples massage, a facial and the Tour Into The Past experience. I highly recommend visiting the spa and taking advantage of the many curated experiences they offer while staying there! Our wine tour guide, Bruna, was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Lastly, the food was incredible. We ate at both restaurants as well as having breakfast on property and every meal was delicious, fresh and beautifully plated. We loved doing the tasting menu with wine pairing at MAPA. The food was so fresh that we saw the chefs harvesting ingredients around the property every day. We can’t wait to visit again some day!"
