The tombs of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Duchess Sophie Hohenberg are part of a small chapel in the basement level of Austria's Artstetten Castle. History buffs may recall the assassination of the Archduke and his wife Sophie in 1914 during a visit to Serejavo. The assassination, often referred to as "the shot heard round the world," precipitated the Great War, now referred to as World War I.
