"Although we booked a room same day and was able to get a room during the July 4th Holiday, the hotel was not very helpful. When asked about a shuttle for getting to and from airport we were advised yes they did. However the next day when we went to take a shuttle to airport we were told its on the hour, however no one had advised us of this ahead of time when we asked about shuttle options."

"The hotel offered an OK experience in terms of what was offered. I booked last-minute on 4th of July weekend and was told that the only available rooms were on the first floor. The bed and bathroom were clean but the carpet smelled like it could use a deep clean or replacement altogether. I definitely wore my slippers AT ALL TIMES while inside. "My daughter and I stayed at Landdown resort for 2 nights. We used the pools and ate in 2 of the restaurants. Coton and Rye was hit and miss. Our first meal was great, but the second dinner was not. To be fair, tbe resrt did comp my meal and I was grateful. The pools were adequate, but could do with some upgrading."

"This was the third or fourth time that we used the Doubletree. The property seems to be going downhill. We could not use the shower. The handle fell off so we could not turn the water on. The outlets in the bathroom were not working. The food was good in the dining room. I did speak to the front desk person about the problem in the morning. He said we should’ve called in the night. "Very nice staff. The rooms are ok. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. It’s interesting because synthetic foods seem to be what corporate executives believe is OK for all of us not staying in luxury hotels. I didn’t know they could make fake fried eggs but that’s what they serve. Hilton hotels offers the synthetic breakfast for marketing purposes so the can charge a little more for the rooms."

"The front desk staff was awesome and very helpful. We had air conditioning problem and maintenance came to fix it quickly. The only issue was housekeeping never came into our room, I had to go get clean towels every evening."
