"Stayed here for one night (24/4/26). It was good value for money as far as I’m concerned. The Greyfriars Lodge is very old but it’s clean. We were very happy with the location. 10 min walk from Canterbury East Station. 4 min walk to Marlowe Theatre the main reason we came to Canterbury. 4 min walk to Butter Market and the Cathedral. "Great treehouse with buggy. Up early to go around the park with the buggy. Loved the clubhouse bar, toasting marshmallows over the fire. We would return, loved the animals, grounds & restaurants too! "

"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved.
