"Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. "Glad of the 'pack up breakfast' but sad that full breakfast it is not served before 07-30. Front bedroom with minimal curtains that just closed and beware of traffic noise if trying for an 'early night and early rise'. Food in restaurant was excellent. bedroom light switches cannot be reached from bed! Car parking adequate. bar had sufficient selection for my tastes."

"Beautiful hotel, great welcoming staff (from front house to restaurant to pool). Room was perfect - especially the view. Beds were very comfy, parking location ideal!. *Something out of the hotels control which was negative was the families / kids creating mayhem in the pool area. Inflatables and ‘dads’ jumping in was quite frankly embarrassing. After 2 minutes I left (sadly the 8pm adults only swim was around my dinner reservation). "
