"The breakfast only included cereals, bread with jam & butter, and yogurt. With coffee, tea and juice. In my experience this is below the minimum one might call breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Great property. Stayed there many times. Clean the windows!! Rooms and the end of hallways. Wanted to look out at the lake and enjoy the views but had a difficult time seeing through the accumulated dust and spider webs. Everything else is great!!"

It looks a little dated and perhaps a tad rundown from the outside, but the inside is recently updated, clean, and well kept. The staff were really lovely and helpful. "A DELIGHTFUL PLACE Having reserved 2 nights for a modrate fee, we expected a moderately comfortable stay in this excellent Salmon Arm location. We were to be surprised. From the welcoming staff, to the tour of the grounds, to the delights of the large pool and gardens, all set within the original forest, it is a HIDDEN GEM. "As we approached the dated front desk and the couple of tables that passed for the breakfast room in the "lobby", we dialed a phone as per the posted instructions. We were met by an unprofessional looking individual who checked us in and gave us our room key. We then proceeded to the room and were immediately appalled at what we saw. "The Hot tub was ice cold When I complained about it, the staff was rude to me, and all they would do to fix the problem was to have someone "look into it" It was late after a long day of travel. I told the staff that this was unacceptable, and that I expected a full refund so I could find a different hotel with a functional hot tub. The staff refused, and the hotel management refused to compensate me in any way. I guess Best Western is desperate for every booking they can manage to secure."

"Very limited parking, have to park early evening or you won't have a spot for the night, small basis pool that is extremely echoey. Hard to be in the area if multiple people are in the pool. Especially kids. Rooms were small, but did the job. Bathroom was small but works, tub is very narrow and tight. Water pressure and shower head was good. Room had a small fridge and microwave. Overall a decent stay if your looking for a basic stay and smaller beds."
