"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

"Außergewöhnliche Lage mit traumhaftem Blick auf Meer und Gebirge, wunderschöne Anlage mit mehreren separaten Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Ferienhäusern/-wohnungen, jeweils mit Terrasse/Balkon, sehr großer Pool und extra Kinderpool, großer Grillplatz, viel Grün.
Die offiziellen Fotos geben das sehr zurückhaltend wieder. Für uns viel schöner als erwartet.

"The property we stayed in was new and has been built to a very high standard. All the rooms have a shower and seperate toilet. A sink is located in each room next to the door. The living areas are bright and clean with floor to ceiling windows/doors, open plan kitchen diner with lots of space with modern appliances. "A truly unique experience, it felt like we were staying at a friend’s place rather than at a hotel. Very homey and our room had a beautiful view. The restaurant was charming, with delicious food and we even had a group of excellent musicians with authentic Greek dancers in costume. Anther bonus - it was a 15 minu LP te drive to the airport.
