"We found a place on the street at 4:30p and could keep car there until 11a next day at no cost. It was perfect for what we needed. Did a pub crawl and didn’t want to drive the hour home. We lucked out that our room was right across hall from bathroom for middle of the night visits. Staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"We visited the Tolovana for the first time in May 2026. The room we had was spacious, complete with a well functioning kitchen that we really enjoyed. The cost of the room, with expansive ocean views facing south, was very reasonable. Grounds were lovely and well maintained.
We gave only 4 stars because there was no disclosure on the Expedia website about a pet fee to bring a pet. The staff says they have contacted Expedia several times about this and they have not corrected the problem -...

"The location is perfect for visiting Haystack in Cannon Beach, walk the beach or use the offered beach chairs to enjoy the sun rise or sunsets. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean, and as we visited in April, enjoyed using the timed fireplace in our bedroom to fall asleep in a cozy way. Amenities are great and we were offered delicious warm chocolate chip cookies! We loved our stay."

"Friendly staff and easy quick check in and out. To me, the beach was not close enough to walk to - especially if you are taking chairs and bags of stuff. The strip of stores and restaurants is not close enough to walk to either. The restaurant on the property was OK. I can see it being fun in the summer with lots of picnic tables and adult games to pass the time.
Room and bath were clean. Nice shower. Beds were comfy. Hotel is right on the main road, but I didn't hear alot of car...
