The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are always clean, with luxurious bedding and soft, fresh towels. We’re already looking forward to our next stay here!!"

"This is a hotel opened in 1924. The hotel is full of classic wordwork and charm. Although the building is old, the rooms have been updated and are very comfortable. Nice continental breakfast each morning. Great location in the middle of the downtown Astoria area, with many wonderful shops and restaurants within an easy walking distance. Easy two block to the trolley station for the trolley which runs along the waterfront on the Columbia River."

"The property is old and tired. The owners have worked hard to perk it up, but it's kind sad. HOWEVER The Harbor and bridge views are terrific, especially from the rooms with the wraparound 153 and 253. They make any shortcomings insignificant. "
