Great spot. The grounds are very well maintained. There are 2 outbuildings that can be used for quite relaxation as well as numerous nooks and crannies to gaze at the amazing views. The patios and room balcony were perfect for evening glass of wine. Gated and secure. It is about a ten minute walk to the center of town.

Se trata en realidad una casa devenida en hotel, pocas habitaciones, excelente calidad de servicio por parte del personal. Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas, llenas de bonitos detalles de confort, el baño espectacular. Especial para algunos días de retiro en pareja, hermosas vistas, enorme piscina y jacuzzi. El restaurante tanto para desayunos como para cenas correcto, quizás algo cara la carta para cenas. Cerca del aeropuerto, se transforma en una buena opción para una última noche antes del vuelo... La contra es que no está cerca del centro de Atenas y no hay mayor cosa en los alrededores, por lo que es un detalle a considerar. En general bien.

The Hotel is very comfortable, clean and the staff is excellent - very personalized and effective attention to needs of guests. Food was excellent; although we are vegetarians... And Mr. Franz (the German Shepard) is a pleasant and friendly addition...:)

Mariana checked us in and she was absolutely delightful. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Ordered food for us at a local restaurant and made my wife who was sick some hot tea before bed.

Horrible check in experience !

I called an hour prior to arriving and told the hotel staff that we would be arriving in 1 hour. The staff member on the phone confirmed this. We arrive 1 hour later with a locked gate we proceeded to hit the call button - no response. I called the hotel- no response. I called the hotel again and again- no response. We honked the car horn after 15 minutes of no response. I called a total of 16 times- no response. We were locked out for 45 MINUTES when my husband bravely decided to scale the fence since my bladder was going to explode. Did I mention it was our anniversary?! So, my husband scaled a 15 foot fence and found absolutely NO ONE at the front desk. He had to ring the bell. Did i mention there are security cameras on the front gate at the reception desk. Apparently no one was watching for guests arriving or cared.

Great stylishotel for stay o the way to Monteverde

We were looking for a nice place to spent the night without having to go out on our way to Monteverde. This place had it all and we enjoyed the pool, gardens and food (diner and breakfast) before driving on early the next day, well rested. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious.

Lovely little hotel 20 minutes away from San Jo

Jose airport, and this one gets lost like we did. It feels like one is in the country, as it's name hotel Toskana , implies. Innkeepers are a welcoming and warm couple from Quebec city. Couldn't be more charming.

Hidden oasis with spectacular views

A bit tricky to find but worth the effort! Charming and luxurious hotel with beautifully landscaped grounds. Welcoming hosts. Soaked in the hot tub admiring the stars and the city lights of San Jose. Wonderful healthy fresh breakfast. Would have loved to stay longer!

Hotel is actually nicer than the pictures show

Everything was outstanding. We had two rooms and they were both clean, comfortable and elegant like everything else. The breakfast was delicious and varied from day to day. The staff was so incredibly welcoming and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Good for those traveling with a car

Villa Toscana was a beautiful place to stay with a great staff, beautiful rooms and a lovely design. It was relaxing and welcoming. It's a quiet place to relax but not close to too much. You need a car to make this a good place to sightsee from.

Terrific stay!

Brandon and Catalina were very friendly and helpful. The grounds and rooms are nicely appointed and well maintained. Delicious breakfast each morning. Will definitely stay here again.
