Not worth it

The check in process was abysmal. We had to get an agent at hotels to contact them. When they did finally get us in the process was less than clear. The lights did not all work, the heaters were not up for the task. Furniture was uncomfortable. Not impressed at all.

The property is beautiful, reminds me of a small castle. There are three apartments, I stayed in apartment 1 on the first floor (I believe apartment 3 is the one with the entire terrace at the top). The property has space for parking as well. The place was super clean and felt very cozy. The owner also have a car renting service (you'd have to speak to them directly). I was able to book the private transportation from and to the airport (which cost me 35 euros total and was totally worth it - the driver was super friendly and funny). I'd say if they don't answer you via WhatsApp initially, be sure to follow-up. The property itself is about a 10-15 min walk to the supermarket, and about a 20-25 min walk to the sea, where you can find many restaurants right by it. The area seems safe, but street are not super lit. There is also a bakery (sells cakes - not really what Americans would look for in breakfast, also doesn't sell coffee) - the pastries are delicious though. You do get somewhat of a sea view that can be appreciated from the entire house, however the sea is seen at a distance, just in case you are looking for an up close sea view. The apartment is about a 15-20 min ride from the Athens Airport and was worth staying there during my overnight layover flight. Thank you again to the entire team for an excellent stay.

Very but NO hot water.

Hot water? We asked and were told, YES, indeed! Help save the environment and don t waste water by running it hoping to get just a little. Dimitri was SUPER nice and helpful.

Definitely need a car

It did have a view of the sea but it is in the middle of nowhere and there is a camper van parked right in front which doesn’t give the house much ambiance.....the people who where present were very pleasant. We needed to be close to the airport and it was.

We were not disappointed. Clean & comfortable. Apartment is nicely air conditioned. The nearby town (just over a mile away) and harbor is lovely. Our hosts Dora & Kostas were very friendly and helpful and even gave us a nice driving tour of Porto Rafti.

This Property May Not Exist

this property was a total scam in my experience. I was promised a driver to the property who did not appear, no phone response, taxi could not find property with GPS, and they did not respond after 2 hours of searching. I was forced to turn back, pay the taxi 100 EU to take me back to Athens and to book another hotel. I emailed them, and Expedia, afterward with no response. I lost over 300EU on this property that does not seem to exist. I also will not book again with Expedia.

They were a very friendly group of people but we had to be very reliant on their driver because it was farther away from the airport, central Athens, and the beach than we were expecting. The driver was also consistently late and sometimes even arrived with an extra passenger already in the car. And even though it was cometely prepaid for we were hit with a 7 Euro cleaning fee before we even stepped through the door.

Very hospitable. Nice, relaxing location.

My wife and I actually stayed in "George's Apartments by the Sea and Airport" (also on Expedia), because this property was being renovated during the time we had booked. The place was wonderful. We walked down to the beach and enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk.
