The room was first class, everything about the place, especially Troy was exactly what accommodation should be. Troy was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful suggesting things without being pushy.. Sadly the weather was not as helpful but a great start to my NZ adventure.

The room was lovely and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything you required. Bathroom was a good size and again well equipped with toiletries. Spa bath was great. Towels were a good size. Bedroom was spacious and bed very comfortable. Balcony was a good size with table and chairs. Laundry facilities great. Bus stop just outside, if required, with regular service. Beach across the road. Shops just a 10 minutes walk away and had everything you would want. A brilliant stay and would highly recommend. Hosts went above and beyond, very helpful, family friendly and accommodating. The Christmas tree in the room was a lovely touch as was a Santa gift bag left on the door of our room. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

A really great stay- a warm welcome, a spacious room with everything we needed and breakfast delivered to our room the following morning. On a fairly busy road but the traffic noise did not disturb us. Plenty of space to park, walking distance to shops and restaurants and a sea view, we couldn’t ask for more

Sandy and Glen run this lodge and you could not ask for a nicer couple. They are truly gracious hosts. Our stay included breakfast and was delivered to us at the time requested on an outdoor seating area. The bay was right in front of us with fantastic views.
