Front desk receptionist ( Mila ) very helpful so are few gentlemen. Bathroom, kitchen facilities are very clean. Excellent location very close to Sky Tower, easy to catch buses, many restaurants within the area and most important very safe place to stay. I would recommend anyone visit Auckland, New Zealand check out this place.

Well located for walking into the CBD. Parking was secure. The room was spacious including the bathroom. There was a constant background noise from the pipes presumably but didn't disrupt sleeping.

Hostel was in an area of town that was not the cleanest and had some shady characters roaming about outside but I guess that's how it goes in a lot of cities around the world. Other than that it was a nice place to stay. The young lady at the front desk was the best.

Auckland's Best New Hostel

This was the third time I've stayed at Hobson Lodge and it's definitely my favorite in town. They're always improving and upgrading stuff. The kitchen and lounge area is clean, intelligently planned, and well-maintained. Derek, the manager, is accommodating, easy-going, and has a really good head on his shoulders. He remembers and welcomes me each time I return!

I was stuck in Auckland awaiting an emergency passport and this was the only accommodation I could find. Is really a backpackers place and I was able to get a double room with communal restrooms. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. But the restrooms could do with more regular cleaning! The manager allowed me to keep my bags in the office after checkout which was very helpful.

Incredibly clean, amazing showers and toilets. Rooms have curtains that allow you to sleep in peace. Every bed has valuable boxes underneath for peace of mind. Laundry room is decently priced at $4 per washer and dryer. Absolute joy to stay there, extended my stay several times at reception with no problems. Would highly recommend to any other backpackers or as a cheaper alternative to a hotel.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! I was welcomed warmly as soon as I entered the front desk and offered free luggage storage behind the front desk, and free full use of all the amenities until it was time to check-in! The hostel itself is very quiet and perfect to get a good rest of you are jet lagged at all! The kitchen had plenty of cooktops, pots, pans, utensils, and storage, and the washrooms had several separate toilets and showers - never had to wait for anything! There were also several computers available to use free of charge as well, which was very helpful for me!

オークランド自体が坂が多いので重めのキャリーなどで来る人は最寄りバスがあるのでバスで来ることをお勧めします。 自分のロッカーも大きいし、シャワー室やトイレ洗面台も管理されてて綺麗です。水圧温度OKです！各ベッドにコンセント２つ穴があり、専用ライトはないです。部屋の電気だけでの生活になるので共有の作業スペースやリビングでパソコン作業などをする形になるかと思います。 15分かからずに歩いてタワーにいけます。 オーナーも良い人で対応が早くて全体としても良いです。
