"Michel and Beroze were lovely hosts, very warm and welcoming. Their place really is like staying in an elegant museum. It’s beautifully decorated with so much care and love. We had a lovely spacious room, clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the history of the place and the access to lovely rooms throughout the building. The inner courtyard is very peaceful for that afternoon drink. Parking is 5 minutes walk away but you can drop your luggage off at the front red...

"A lovely place to stay. Very friendly, very clean, great breakfasts - especially with Tom's useful hints about places to visit - and a lovely pool. Not under their control obviously, the only downside was the lack of restaurants around. But the kitchen facilities were brilliant, and the supermarket was only a short walk. The bus stop is really close, and the bike hire was great. A car would give you access to more eating options."

"Je ne passais qu’une seule nuit à Saintes seule pour visiter un ami à l’hôpital. L’accueil de Claudine fut très chaleureux et tonique. Elle me reçue dans sa maison de ville où elle loue 2 chambres. La mienne était spacieuse, salle de douche récemment rénovée, wc séparé. Propreté impeccable. Au plein coeur de la ville, pas un bruit. Elle m’a conseillé un restaurant juste à côté tout à fait bien et le lendemain matin l’ai pu, ainsi que l’autre locataire, prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse...

"A very peaceful location, although we only stayed 1 night on a trip to the south of France. Just of the A83. Very friendly Lovely breakfast"
