"We arrived to the hotel and discovered that it was no open restaurant at the hotel. The information about the hotel said that there was a restaurant beside, but that one seems to be open only Thursday to Sunday. The village was almost dead and no restaurant was open. Lucky for us there was a store beside the hotel were we could by some bread, ham and beer for dinner. The owner was rude and thought that we should try to eat somewhere else outside of the village. That is not what you want to hear...

"Authentic village with spectacular environment. Room and house were very clear and nicely furnished, the breakfast was absolutely fine and enough. The owners are very friendly, helpful and guest-centric. They helped to plan the daily program (e.g. weather, free map, info books...) and every day they left a small chocolate on the pillow. :)"

For prospective guests: staying here is worth it—read the check in details that are sent, ask questions through the message portal on Expedia, and use google translate if you’re struggling. "It was such a nice and pretty hotel in an incredible location, I ended up extending my stay five days longer that planned The receptionists, the housekeeping team , the restaurant staff were all so helpful . The pool and sauna were nice and most of al the access to the trains and buses to explore the whole area . Bad Ischl was the perfect base . Hotel is next door to Kaiser Villa , so convenient, and to the supermarket too . A good full breakfast and my room was spacious and so nice . I really look forward coming back with friends and family to enjoy such a nice set up in such a beautiful area "
