"Very comfortable and well run small hotel in authentic Lisbon neighbourhood. Lots of local places to have breakfast, lunch and supper. Good air conditioning and Wifi. Metro close by. Easy taxi ride to airport. Only drawback is no elevator - and lots of stairs - if you have heavy luggage."

"The hotel is in a great location but standards have slipped in the last year. The breakfast was terrible, off fruit that was clearly days old and juice that tasted like the water that was used to wash it. We pointed out the bad fruit to find the next day it had been converted to the tropical juice. With the same off smell. Frankly, bad oranges should be a crime in Portugal. Pastries were fine if you want a starchy breakfast and the cooked offering was poor. Grey scrambled eggs, raw looking...

"We loved this hotel, the design is very unique and the staff were friendly. It was very clean too. The only very minor issues we would say was they could do with more sun loungers in the pool area, and cleaner could be topping up the coffee machine capsules in the room. But it was such a great stay overall- we saw complaints on older reviews about noise from other rooms, but we didn't experience that!"

"Great hotel! Located not in the historic center but Uber is very affordable. Rooms are large and comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice. We were able to check in super early in the morning after arriving from the USA. Really appreciate being able to rest after long flight. There is a great breakfast place just across the street called Soul and Sip."

"I think it was the drain in the bathroom that smelt old and rancid which meant every time you came in, it smelt stale. Compared to other boutique hotels I've been to, it wasn't very boutique. Staff were extremely helpful and can't fault them for that. All in all, you pay your money, you get the price. Don't intend to be harsh but it was ok for the price. Would I stay there again? Deduce from my rating."

"We stayed at the hotel in July, when heat was at one of its peaks in Europe. Personnel are very accommodating and professional. The hotel itself was kept clean and neat. The rooms were very well-insulated against heat. Their curtains don’t let light and heat into the room when properly and completely closed off. Air conditioning is EXCELLENT. "Everything was good except for a strong "wet dog" like smell on the first floor. Not sure if it was included in the description, but you also do not have private bathrooms as they are shared with the rest of the floor."
