"Could be my favourite hotel. Ever. The staff(owners) are lovely. Gave a tour of the wine cellar which was SPECTACULAR! Like a cathedral. The decor was brilliantly done. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated w all new fixtures. The garden patio was out of a movie. Beds were king size and perfect. I have never stayed in a hotel with more attention to detail. And the town is the most perfect medieval town I have seen in France. We had dinner at Henri IV square...

"Top ligging, uitzicht op het kasteel en het water. Super service. Lekker eten. Top ontbijt. Ik zou zelf wat kleine veranderingen aanbrengen, in ieder geval op de 3e etage. Dit zodat de kamer groter is, meer begaanbaar. Slaapbank opklappen wanneer je met 2 personen in een 4 persoons kamer zit. Ligbad eruit halen en alleen een douche plaatsen. De kastjes onder de wastafel weghalen en alleen een wastafel plaatsen. Algehele belevenis is zeker Heel Goed. Ik ga hier zeker terugkomen!!!"

The staff even gave us a lot of tips and recommendations about the area as we are tourists from the US. Moe was exceptional, she gave me parking hacks around the train station. "Stop looking and stay here! Fabien’s hospitality made it so worth it. Met us upon arrival, very clear instructions and he brought us a fresh breakfast in the morning. Flat has everything a family of 4 (two young teen kids) could need. The location couldn’t be better, minutes away from historic sites and amazing food options. No street noise. Can’t say enough about how great the stay was, will return and stay here again, without hesitation. Merci Fabien!"

"I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens."
