Magical place

Very good stay in the hotel. The staff is very helpful, the place is superb, the food is good and the games for children are great. The cardio machines in the gym are very old and the decoration of the restaurant is a bit old-fashionned. In conclusion, we had a good time with family in a magical setting.

My experience at Haile resort was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, outstanding service, and prime location made for a memorable stay. A special mention goes to Ephrem, the shuttle driver, who was exceptionally courteous and helpful, making my transfers to and from the airport seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Awassa and look forward to returning on my next trip.

Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Some of us were under the weather and so supported us. Really appreciate them. The place is great. Swam on the pool. Had wine by the lake. Saw a hippo in the lake! Food tasty and comfortable room. Highly recommend.

It’s a nice resort. But I think it’s best suited for family with children and married couples or if you want to impress your date. All the staffs were nice and helpful. The best thing thing was to see the lake and enjoyed it from my window especially when I wake up in the early morning. But I had one big issue that am trying to solve still they charged me again which was inconvenient even though I told them my reservation was already paid online obviously on your website. But they didn’t charge me twice when I booked via Booking. So not sure where the miscommunication came from.

Overall my stay at Haile Resort was great! We did run into some minor issues like our tv in the room not working great. The room and it’s things like cleanliness, and comfort was great. Something else that bothered me was the fact that we paid extra to have an ocean view room but the room we got had its ocean view blocked by a tree upfront. It was not a big deal to me as I enjoyed being out anyway but I think that should be considered a bit more since you have to pay extra for the view. Other than that the staff around was amazing and resort itself was a great place to be at so you can relax.

I stayed in Hawassa for 2 weeks during my vacation back home from the states. I have had to extend my stay in the city a couple times and it was mainly because of this resort. I have never seen such great customer service and such well trained and loving set of staff. This is not just a job for them, they pay attention and show love to their guests like I have never seen before. And this was not limited to front desk or anything. Everyone from the door men, front desk, to servers, house keeping, spa workers, and everyone else I might have forgotten, EVERYONE was great! I have felt so at home while staying at the resort that I was coming even on days I was not staying there. I can keep going on about how amazing and attentive the staff was but it would take too long haha. I just wished the menu had just a bit more variety mainly because I would want to stay for several days whenever I go and it would be nice to be able to diversify my food group options. But whatever was on the menu was great. The only thing I thought could have been better during my stay was the pool. I think it would be upkeeping with the quality of the resort if the pool had a warmer. During our stay it was supposed to be sunny but since the resort is by the water and gets cold at night, we have to wait half a day for the pool water to go back to normal. Because the pool is one of the main activities it would be great to have a pool warmer. Other than that everything was great and I recommend this place

The resort is awesome. All the staff member are professionals. Every where in the resort is clean and neat! I highly recommend Haile Resort! Love HAILE RESORT! All the staff (employees) are well- educated ! They know how to treat their customer! Oh I forget to mention about the food….it’s very delicious and healthy! House keeping is number one once you left your room for breakfast the house keepers was their to clean the room! Everything you need in the room was their! All in all if you have events big or small Haile resort is their for you! It might be your birthday, anniversary, honeymoon…..the reason why I said that , I was their for my honeymoon with my beautiful wife , we have really enjoyed our honeymoon! I can’t tell you how the surprised as! They decorated our room every single day we stay there! Make a cake for our honeymoon! NOTE: Don’t get surprised all this thing is covered by Haile resort I paid only for the room! Cake, decoration of the room is freeeeeee freeeeeee!!!! So the money you gonna expend at the resort is very very cheap when you compare with the other’s!! For the safety matter Haile resort is #1 Haile resort left unforgettable memory in our honeymoon! HAILE RESORT IS NUMBER ONE IN MY BOOK! Traum am See

Das Personal war von ausgesuchter Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit. Das begann schon vor der Tür bei der Security und setzte sich bis zum gratis Shuttle zum Flughafen fort. Das Hotel ist picobello sauber, die Toiletten werden permanent geputzt. Die Lage am See ist traumhaft, siehe Foto. Einziger Minuspunkt war, dass man im Restaurant, offenbar auch wie in vielen anderen Restaurants in Äthiopien, mit Glutamat kocht. Wer damit kein Problem hat, dem kann man das Haile Ressort uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
