"Our stay was amazing. Patrick was extremely helpful explaining the property and showing us to our room. You could just see the attention to detail in every element of the property, from the beautiful landscaping to all the amenities in the room. I will definitely be coming back."

"Pequeno hotel muito limpo, no centro da cidade. Quarto confortável e espaçoso para 3 pessoas! Pequeno almoço de muito boa qualidade. Funcionarios muito prestáveis."

"Hotel is nice and it's nice that they have a lot of parking. But in the room there is no safe and if you want to hair dryer you have to ask for it. Most of the time, the front desk was empty, so no one there to help same at breakfast, didn't see anybody working around the breakfast area.."

"Lovely proprietors"

"Sossegado e limpo e funcionários simpaticos"

"The rooms downstairs in the “basement” had a musty smell. The staff was gracious enough to move one of our four rooms upstairs and another to a different hotel. It was an inconvenience but we only stayed one night."

"The staff was outstanding. The welcome ginja drinks was a delightful surprise. The breakfast was excellent and varied. The room was fabulous. We loved to stay inside the walls, but parking outside the walls was a challenge with dragging luggage’s over a long bumpy road. Not for the faint of heart."

"It was clean, the staff was super helpful. They made reservations for me to have dinner at a local restaurant. The room was much nicer than I was expecting."

"The Literary Man was one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. It was so fun to explore the grounds, both inside and out, and our room was very good sized and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was top notch for a European style breakfast, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating."
