"The homestay double booked my booking so I turned up and they had nowhere for me to stay. At 5pm I then had to try and find a room in Ella for the night, in peak season. Ended up staying in a dirty hotel as that was the only option left after 3 hours of searching, and got severely ill from the food there. My whole holiday was completely ruined thanks to Dimuthu homestay. Unbelievably unprofessional. DO NOT book here, it is not worth the risk."

"Midden in de jungle 2 heerlijke kamers met warme douche, prima bed, airco en fan bij een zeer gastvrije familie. Maken, als je dat wilt, een heerlijk diner voor je klaar. Ook kan hij een zeer persoonlijke safari voor je regelen incl ontbijt in de jungle. Ze hebben echt alle tijd voor je."

"Purtroppo abbiamo trascorso solo una notte da Cinthia, ma siamo stati benissimo! La casa è bellissima, silenziosa e la vista dalla camera è grandiosa. Tutto molto pulito e accogliente. Cinthia è stata molto gentile e di aiuto. La colazione è ottima e varia. L’alloggio è a pochi minuti a piedi da Ella e quindi comodo. A mio avviso il miglior posto in cui abbia alloggiato in Sei Lanka. "

"The room was huge and the facility was very basic. The guy at the reception was very kind to show me the short cut to the town. Wi-Fi worked well. Warm water was available but I had to bath from tap as water pressure from showerhead was too weak. It is because I stayed during the rainy days, I felt the room damp and bed little smelly...Considering the price and location, I could not ask for more."

"Really beautiful view and lovely location, even with the occasional train passing by (if anything, it added to the charm). Very kind and helpful hosts, who loaned their umbrellas to us and accommodated our last minute change of breakfast time when we were running late from a morning hike. They also packed our breakfast to go when we checked out early on our last day. Walking along the train tracks is by far the best way to get to town and back in under 10 minutes. The paved road is quite windy...

"The biggest problem with this hotell was to find it. Our taxidriver asked tuc-tuc-drivers and lokal people, and no one knew the location of the hotel. They had'nt even heard of it. We drow around for half an hour. No signs along the road, not even when we were near by. When we walked back after dinner in the town, there where no lightening near by so that we could be sure to walk the right way. The room was clean, but we missed a small table beside the bed. There were no aircon or heating, so...
