"It was a nice place everything looked clean and the gardens were lovely. Walkable distance to the downtown of Baddeck. Restaurant looked recently renovated. I felt like I was in a comunal area. They had a microwave in the front entrance of the building where the rooms were. It felt more like a camping cottage that a hotel. The room was nice and clean. No balcony just a long corridor before entering the room. I thought I would explain this here since I had no idea that the inn looked like that from the pictures on the website"

Silver Dart Lodge

"The lodge restaurant and rooms have great views of the Bras D'ors Lake! The rooms were surprisingly large and had chairs, tables and access to a balcony. Disappointingly, the lodge does not have lake access for kayaking and canoeing on premise. You have to go to a shared resort canoe/kayak rental on the lake. The restaurant food was quality and staff were really attentive and kind. Nice pool, too. Baddeck has much to offer and the lodge is really close by (walking or short drive). We would recommend staying at Silver Dart Lodge, especially for families."

"L’emplacement est merveilleux, grand site proche de plusieurs activités. La ville de Baddeck semble être très animée, et l’hôtel est très bien située. Le personnel est souriant et accueillant. Il y a 2 restaurants dans l’hôtel et la nourriture est excellente. Le seul point négatif est que les chambres sont plutôt simple et mal insonorisé. On peut voir que l’intérieur des chambres datent de longtemps."
