"The manager was very nice and even though he spoke no english, we managed to communicate with him. The area around the hotel was depressed and looked like some of the buildings were closed, almost a boarded up feeling. The beds were hard as a rock, literally. Shower was great. Our big problem was mosquitos in the room. Even though the screens looked fine, mosquitos kept coming in. My daughter had at least 15 bites, many of them on her face from during the night. They buzzed us all night long....

"I had a wonderful stay at the first accommodation facility in the City, which opened in 1931. The cozy and clean room satisfied me. The interior design and furniture were renovated, especially one of the pillows on the bed, which made me sleep so well. "We had an amazing stay at Le Collective Sokcho Central. Space was clean, great communication and easy self check-in. Located within walking distance to the lakeside. Cafes nearby and close to bus stops. Would definitely stay again!"

"The hotel seems new or, at the very least, newly remodeled. There is an outdoor pool which is free to use and very kid friendly. A sauna is in the basement, for a small fee, it is small but clean. They allow you to hang out on the rooftop, which is fantastic; it makes for wonderful nighttime views of the skyline. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Sokcho."
