"The pool are was filthy the hallway carpet was old and stained and ripped up with big chunks missing. The pool had chipped up bottom and the area around the pool had chunks of concrete dirt and even insulation laying around on the ground looked like hasn’t been cleaned or swept in months. "My boyfriend and I stayed here during our weekend getaway. Our room was clean and ready early for us, we asked if we could have a early check-in and the manager reached out to us stating we could. The nice lady that was cleaning up the rooms and property, happily greeted us and showed us to our room. The air worked great, we had hot days while we were there and much needed to come "home" to. "It is one of the few newer motels in this part of Iowa. The room was contemporary but basic, and it was clean and quiet. Privacy was assured since our window faced a nearby cliff. Other rooms have river views. There is limited on-site parking, but free parking nearby on the street."
