"Parking very easy till we booked in and were asked to pay £14, this was not mentioned on the hotel advert with Expedia nor on the email confirming the booking. After some debate with reception the guy borrowed our phone to show us where it was, not under this hotel but scrolled down another half dozen pages and showed us it the parking charges in the general terms and conditions, while scrolling saw the booking charge had dropped by £20, so suggested they took the parking charge out of this,...

"Check in and out was easy and simple. Room was a little on the small side, but it’s only a place to sleep. Good brew station with good selection of teas. Tv, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, towels, shower cap, 2 bed side lamps, power sockets in the room. Plenty of space to store clothes. Breakfast was freshly made with an excellent selection. "Loved this hotel and the people! Arrived late from Ireland and they made us right at home. Great breakfast and then walk to the main city and Cathedral area. Stunning city!!! Then off to the Manchester stadium for a souvenir. Then we caught the train in the hotel to York. It was a perfect stay (great food in the bar too)."

"Parking is £25/night and a 5min walk to the hotel- bear that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Apart from that - excellent all round. To make it better - mini fridge in the room, even if there were a surcharge we would have paid it."

"Lovely hotel and very handy for tge station. Rooms on the small side but ok for a short stay. My only complaint is the use of paper cups in the rooms. We coukdnt pick up tge vips as they were too hot and then one of them started leaking. A couple of china mugs and some glasses for water please."
