"The lodge is in a beautiful setting, the rooms were clean and with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The staff are friendly and helpful. The local area is not particularly good, but a short tuk-tuk ride will take you into central Bahir Dar."

That may be the reason why there were very few guests. The room I was given was not only spacious with beautiful view of the city on the side of stadium, but also was very clean and very quite. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The manager was responsive to requests I made. The house keeping staff responded in minutes...
