"The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of parking. Suggest the driveway sewer grate be attended to. The noise was a bit much when cars used the driveway."
"Check in was easy. We were given directions to the parking area, right behind the building, and the ticket to use for going in and out. The third level of the parking garage has the enclosed walkway that takes you directly back to the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful view when reaching our room. I usually do book a room with a view, but in the past at other hotels we have been very disappointed. This was amazing and would stay there again because of that. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the amenities but hopefully next time. Going towards the Casino, the area is nice to walk and there are some great places to eat. Going in the other direction...or to the LCBO which is walking distance....I wouldn't walk it at night or by myself. Very sketchy area."
"The size of the room was very large. There was plenty of space for the three of us including counter and seating (besides the bed). The location of the room was perfect- it was close, but not too close to the elevator; it was close to the ice machine and had a great view of the Detroit River. There were two complimentary bottles of water per day; but we were not told that at registration and there was no literature to explain that in the room.
The most upsetting issue was mould in the shower- on the floor, on the walls and on the silicon grout. There was also some dust in the bathroom.
The most baffling issue was why would a room for four only be equipped with coffee supplies for two? We requested more from housekeeping and it took a good 1/2 hour to come. They did not bring what we requested and again on the second morning we took to the hallway to look for house keeping staff to get more supplies.
We also thought $25.00 a day was excessive for hotel guests.
We were aware of construction in the parking garage but found the signage to be inadequate- especially for existing the unit."
