Parador de Aiguablava

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful location on a hill top creating outstanding views on both sides of the hotel. You definitely need a car to access the hotel. Rooms clean and spacious. Hotel buffet breakfast excellent. Nice bar area with food served all day. Restaurant extremely pleasant and good choice of food. Large swimming pool but not heated!"

"Wonderful hotel. Dinner on the outside Terrace was excellent. Super good service. The only issue is the two close beaches are VERY small. So they crowd up early. You can walk (20+ minutes each way) to the public beach at Aguia Blava which is large. Driving is easy to the beach, just a couple of minutes but the parking lot is full by 9:30am so you have to go early."

"This was me and my husband’s absolute favourite stay while on our honeymoon in Spain! We were so pleasantly surprised to walk into our room and see that it was even more gorgeous than the photos. The room was spacious, modern, while still keeping with the coastal theme of the hotel. The shower was one of our favourite features and felt more like hydro therapy than a typical shower. The terrace was a wonderful bonus and a lovely space to enjoy our evenings together. The pool/outdoor bar area were exceptional and a great place to enjoy a few drinks upon our return home from our daily adventures. The hotel itself was only a short distance from the beaches we wanted to see in both Begur and Callella du Palafrugell making it the perfect home base. We will absolutely be recommending this spot to friends and family."
