"The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent service. The menu is pretty limited, but the food tasted good and reasonably priced. The hotel is surrounded by small shops, but has tons of places to eat and shop. I only went to the right after exiting the hotel. There is more shopping to the left. The sidewalks are uneven right around the hotel. From the outside it looks kinda funky, but the inside is very nice and clean. Make sure you have a blanket. It got cold in mid-March.The hotel has night clubs on both sides, so be prepared for music.The fan in the bathroom drums out that. Ihe location is perfect for shopping. For the price, and location, I enjoyed my 3 day stay, as a single women visiting Tijuana for dental work. The location is just a taxi ride from Zona Rio, which is where all the medical offices are. If I come again, I will love to stay at HotelPlaza one. Note, the tv is only in Spanish but is Roku. There is probably away to mirror your phone onto the TV. I would advise to bring a tablet, if you don't speak Spanish. "
