"One thing Im sure can be better is cleaner drain systems in the sinks and shower. Our sink and shower tub had a little sewer smell, and in the shower, the water was draining kinda slow. That can be avoided if those get cleanup regularly. I’m sure they are doing the best they can and on everything; this is a constructive review and not a complaint. Stay blessed people!!!"

The hotel will ONLY provide enough towels and washcloths for two people. There were three people in my party. We paid for a double room which should accommodate four people, but the hotel will only accommodate two people. "Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The property appears very run down and could really use some maintenance. The trash cans around the hotel were overflowing, which made the grounds feel neglected. The exterior would also benefit from a thorough power washing, as it looked dirty and uninviting. "There was some confusion when I checked in about the breakfast I paid for through Expedia, but it was figured out. The staff was friendly. Breakfast choices were above average and not some make your own waffle experience. Everything was clean, although they forgot to empty out the fridge in my room, but that’s not a big issue. My biggest complaint is paid parking for a hotel in Bakersfield that isn’t even close to whatever “downtown” Bakersfield is. That is a $10 joke for a property like this....

"Clean pet stay room. Free breakfast was small with decent good food choices. We stayed just one night and the place was clean, quiet and restful. Also located right near the hwy which allowed for us to easily continue our route. The staff member at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a good place to stay with pets and get a good night's sleep. We would stop their again if ever in the area."
